Originally posted on: Tuesday, August 17, 2010VON Chatham-Kent is excited to announce their 1st charity runway fashion show held at the newly renovated Capitol Theatre, Downtown Chatham! Not only is it the first fashion show held at the Capitol Theatre but it is also the first charitable event since its opening. This new and exciting event takes place on August 25th and all proceeds support the VON Chatham-Kent programs and services.
Guest will enjoy delicious appetizers and desserts catered by Made with Love and they will also get a chance to win raffle prizes donated by The Gift Fairy, The Capitol Theatre, Shoppers Drug Mart and Leons Furniture. Guests will also have the chance to bid on homemade desserts in the Dessert Auction.
The fine fashions worn by the runway models will be presented from local Chatham business owner Sherry Molema’s store, The Gift Fairy, found in Historic Downtown Chatham. Sherry is partnering with VON Chatham-Kent in support of their programs such as the Kids’ Circle Program, supporting children and teens facing a life-threatening illness of a loved one, themselves or the loss of a loved one.
The evening will be hosted by Radio Show DJ Mary Anne Ivision to host the evening’s events thanks to sponsors Blackburn Radio.
