Is your name on the Voters List for the Chatham-Kent Municipal Election on October 25? You must be on the Voter’s List in order to vote and receive your Voter Identification Notice (VIN) card.  This card provides information on where and when you can vote. VIN cards will be mailed out by mid-September, 2010.

To verify that your name is on the Voters’ List and to find out where you can vote, visit the Chatham-Kent Internet Voter Lookup (IVL) at www.ckelection.com , or telephone 519.360.1998, or visit any Municipal Centre or Municipal Information Desk in Chatham-Kent.   This information is also accessible through the Municipality of Chatham-Kent web portal at www.chatham-kent.ca .

“Checking now that your name is on the list will not only make voting easier for you, but it will speed up the overall election process as well,” said Chatham-Kent’s Election Coordinator Judy Smith.

Please note that, to vote at either the Advance Vote or Election Day, you must bring identification that shows your name, qualifying address and signature.
