Originally posted on: Tuesday, August 24, 2010The Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers Raffle draw was conducted on July 25, 2010 at our Rodeo event in Pain Court park. The draw took place at approximately 3;30pm the winning tickets were pulled by Mayor Randy Hope. The winner of the grand prize Trailer was Jarrod Tewkesbury, of Chatham (picture attached)2nd place winner of the freezer and meat Tiffany Breakey 3rd place for the Detroit Lions tickets was Diane Thibert of Chatham. The Crime Stoppers Board would like to thanks everyone for their support of the program during this campaign. The Board recognized profits to the program of $2000.00, this money will go to help pay the rewards to the tipsters. The Rodeo event was a successful event for Crime Stoppers and after all expenses Crime Stoppers board made profits of approximately $6000. These funds will go to the reward program for the tipsters. Thank you to everyone who attended and purchased tickets to help with the Crime Stoppers program. We will be hosting another Rodeo Event in 2011.
