Originally posted on: Tuesday, August 31, 2010Dresden, on, August 26, 2010: Are you tired of your current hair style and looking for a change? Well then why not get a Great Canadian Hair “Do” and show your support for the Terry Fox Run.
As the 30th anniversary of the Run approaches as well as the 15th year of the Dresden run, the Dresden Terry Fox Run committee as well as Dresden Firefighters are showing their support by hosting The Great Canadian Hair “do” event. This event is looking for local people brave enough to volunteer their head to be shaved, dyed or have any other crazy hairstyle in support of the cancer research.
Candidates will collect pledges and bring them to the event. The hair “do” will take place during the Terry Fox Run Firemen’s Breakfast on Saturday September 18th from 7am-11am at the Dresden Fire Hall. Even if you’re not getting a new hairdo come on out for a good breakfast and support a great cause.
