There was a big fundraiser held at the Blenheim Golf Course on Sunday evening, helping send a group of special ladies to the big Walk to End Women's Cancer next weekend in Toronto – the girls are a team of five and entry into the 60 km walk-a-thon is $2,000 per team member, so they had to raise $2,000 to get into the walk. All proceeds from the event in Toronto go to Princess Margaret Hospital. So, the name of the team......The Things Dawn Gets Us Into...Again....says this is a team that likes to have fun and Blenheim Golf Course was the place for fun for sure on Sunday. There were raffles, horse races, great food and live music as the girls finished off their successful fundraising efforts. cktimes' photographer John Gardiner dropped by the event and snapped these photos.....
