The Rolling Stones Ultra Rare Trax Part 1 Bootleg Songs

Tuesday, May 9, 2006

Unlike most bands, The Rolling Stones have NO PROBLEM with their music being bootlegged, in fact they encourage most of their concerts to be taped and have been recording most of their rehearsals----all concerts get taped through their music boards----Now that is a sign of a confident band, hats off to this GREAT GROUP----they realize that there is much to be learned from taping their music at all times-----what i have always tried to collect over the years, are these special albums or cd's that contain the tracks that DON'T make it to the final cut and one will find AMAZING musical contributions that are close to making the hit list, but not good enough for the band album, but great jamming tunes. To date, there are 1000's of bootleg albums by the Stones, they are the most bootlegged group in the world to date.

For every album released, one will find at least 2-3 albums of recorded material, and I love it when they make to into my collection. It would sometimes take me years to find some of these extra recorded albums, but that is all part of the excitement of collecting. One example of unused material available, is the Voodoo Lounge album---there are approximately 10 cd's of the BBC's unreleased material---titled "Voodoo Brew, Stew and Residue" this is a very expensive little collection to have, but well worth the price for all the material, and we are talking about 70 tracks on the Voodoo Brew cd's alone. I will cover this collection in a future edition.

This is one of my most SPECIAL COLLECTIBLE SETS----THE ROLLING STONES "ULTRA RARE TRAX" Just an huge collection of songs that were done in rehearsels, for fun and live recordings. Now i know that most bands would appreciate hearing their past catalogs 20 years in the future----i know i wish i had tapes of our Strange Brew days

This is the very last song the Stones have made for Decca Records. Before splitting with Decca the Stones had to accomplish their contract. They have recorded some demo versions of «Cocks**ker Blues», also known as «Schoolboy Blues» to publish this song for Decca Records. Decca rejected because of the ambiguous lyrics and the simplicity of this song. The Stones have fulfilled their contract and Decca has not released the song. Now you can hear for the first time on Compact Disc one of these demo versions recorded live at Olympic Studios in 1969.
