Sydenham Field Naturalists meetings and Indoor Programs are held on the 2nd floor of the Wallaceburg Municipal Service Centre, Dufferin Ave., Wallaceburg. See individual dates for Program details.
Wednesday evenings, September - June, 7:45 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
THE BALDOON SQUARES, a square dance and round Dance group, meet at Wallaceburg District Secondary School cafeteria. Usually a light lunch follows the dance. Membership is free for the first three weeks of attendance. Call George Lung at 683-2889 for information.
4th Wednesday of every month, 8:00 p.m.
The KENT COUNTY STAMP CLUB meets in the library at John McGregor Secondary School, 300 Cecile Ave., Chatham every month except July, August and December.
Third Wednesday of the month, 7:00 p.m.
The CHATHAM KENT QUILTERS' GUILD meets at St. Paul's Congregational Church Hall, 450 Park Ave., W., Chatham. New members and guests welcome. Call 354-1985 for more information.

The Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown meets weekly in the basement of the Mount Zion Presbyterian Church, 59 Main St. E., Ridgetown. Summer meetings are hosted by members at various local addresses.
Every Second and Fourth Friday of each month, 7:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
TEENS ROCK for teenagers in grades 7 - 10 meets at the Gym at Charlemont Free Methodist Church, 30127 Brigden Road, R.R.#5, Wallaceburg for basketball, volleyball, soccer, table games, outdoor games, campfires, cookouts, camping trips, community service projects and more. It's that time of year again, and we are once again holding the Breakfast with Santa, on Saturday, November 29th at the Tilbury Fire Hall on Superior Street, Tilbury. Again, it will be presented by the Merlin, Tilbury and Wheatley Firefighters, the Tilbury Lions Club and the Tilbury Information & HELP Centre. Breakfast starts at 9:00 am with Santa arriving a short while later. Hope to see you there.

Taste of the Season Holiday Open House

What: Nine wineries from the Lake Erie North Shore Wine Region (Southwestern Ontario) will be providing an assortment of holiday cheer in their wineries this weekend. We are giving back to the community that has given us so much support! Bring in a canned good to any of the participating wineries and we will match the quantity to deliver to our local food banks.
Interactive wine tastings, gourmet cheeses and sweets, meeting the winemakers and VIP tours will be offered for FREE at all participating wineries. Don't miss your chance to indulge!

The Chatham-Kent Film Group will be presenting "The Duchess," a film loosely based on Lady Diana Spencer's great-great-great aunt, on Monday, December 1, 2008. The film will be shown at 6:45 P.M. at the Chatham Cinema Six on King St. East. It stars Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes; it's a great period piece with lavish costumes and tales of eating disorders, gambling and drug addictions, and adultery. $8.00 for members and $9.00 for non-members. Eye for Art Gala is taking place on Saturday, December 6th at 8 pm. The gala will include hors díoeuvres prepared by Harvest Moon Catering; Pascal, a wine connoisseur, entertaining palettes with vintage wine and cheese pairings; live music will be featured; and Christmas Fantasy silent auction items will be available. The work in the EYe for Art exhibition will be sold by silent auction the evening of the Gala. After the Gala any un-purchased works will be sold on a "first-come, first served" basis at the artist listed price. The proceeds of the event and exposition will be split between the Carlo Rossini Memorial Diabetes Foundation and the Thames Art Gallery. All proceeds will remain within Chatham-Kent. Benefit Laser Light & Variety Extravaganza Show on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2009 at Ursuline College, Chatham In Support of the Chatham-Kent Professional Fire Fighters Associationís community charity fund. Proceeds will assist local worthy causes. The Firefighters have assisted many local community projects
including Camp Trillium, Y.M.C.A., Prism Center, Chatham Goodfellows, Children's Safety Village, and Chatham Youth Soccer.
