CELEBRATE LIFE FASHION SHOW at the Wheels Inn Ballroom, Chatham. A fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. Tickets are $25 and include refreshments and door prizes. The models are all cancer survivors and each shares a personal cancer story with the audience. For tickets or information contact the Chatham-Kent Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society at 352-3960.

Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts presents THE UGLY DUCKLING at the Jeanne Gordon Theatre 505 King St., Wallaceburg. Tickets are $10 each or $25 for a family.

Saturday, April 26 and Saturday, May 3, 10:00 a.m. to noon
Two week art workshop for children ages 9-12, CARTOONING FOR KIDS at the Chatham Cultural Centre, 75 William St. N., Chatham. Cost is $25 ($23 for Cultural Centre members). Call 519-354-8338.

Sun Parlour Emergency Services Inc., Chatham-Kent Division presents MASH BASH 2003 at Kinsmen Auditorium, 80 Tweedsmuir Ave., Chatham. Tickets are $35 per person which includes, dinner, trivia and dance. Highlights include local celebrity actors, theme dress (dig out and dust off those fatigues), theme dinner in the mess tent. Westover Treatment Centre in Thamesville presents its fourth annual ALUMNI VARIETY SHOW. Singing, dancing, comedians and skits. Admission is $5 and tickets are available at the door.

Sunday, April 27, 11:20 a.m.
Annual SYDENHAM RIVER CANOE RACE sponsored by St. Clair Region Conservation Authority. Race begins on Mosside Road just west of County Road 79 north of Cairo and finish at the Shetland Conservation Area on Lambton County Road 2. Friday, May 2, 7:00 p.m.
The Family Series at the Chatham Cultural Centre presents THE SWORD AND THE STONE. Audience participation brings children right into the action as Arthur becomes a fish, a bird and finally the rightful King of England. Chatham Film Group presents THE PIANIST, starring Adrian Brody, 2003 Oscar Award winner for Best Actor. One of the year's most acclaimed films. Wallaceburg & District Council for the Arts and the Glass Onion Folk Club presents singer-songwriter RICHARD KNECHTEL. Well known in folk circles across the country, Richard has been a frequent performer at some of the provinces largest and best-known folk festivals including Owen Sound's Summerfolk and London's Home County Folk Festival.
