The Ridgetown-Rondeau Festival of Flight, Flora and Fun presents the CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL. Free admission to the "Sciensational SSSnakes Show" at 10 a.m. and BEEBO with his pal Marmalade at 1 p.m.. Discovery Stations are ongoing along with crafts, games, face painting, music, food booths, skits and more. At the Ridgetown Campus, University of Guelph, Main St., E., in Ridgetown.

Wallaceburg DRAGON BOAT RACES on the Sydenham River between the walking bridge and the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 18 Hall, this year's sponsor. Food, refreshments and raffles throughout the day at the Legion. Proceeds to the Breast Buddies (a support group for breast cancer survivors) and the United Way of Chatham-Kent. Wallaceburg & District Council for the Arts and the Glass Onion Folk Club presents singer-songwriter RICHARD KNECHTEL. Well known in folk circles across the country, Richard has been a frequent performer at some of the provinces largest and best-known folk festivals including Owen Sound's Summerfolk and London's Home County Folk Festival.
