July 25 - 27
Dresden Exhibition at the Dresden Fairgrounds. Parade Friday evening from Lambton-Kent Composite School to the Fairgrounds. On Friday evening the SWOTPA tractor pull and minrods competition will take place. Saturday is family day with a model airplaine exhibit, the Mutts Mega Show, children's entertainment including the Stylemanders music group, country singer Gary Boyle and Jungle Cat World with live baby lions, tigers and reptiles and a Demolition Derby Saturday night. Sunday's entertainment includes a light horse show and mid west show. Entrance to Exhibition grounds is free, Grandstand events cost $10 per person.

The Chatham Capitol Theatre presents DUFFLEBAG THEATRE during the week of July 21st at Day Camps and Playgrounds throughout Chatham-Kent and a FREE performance at the Chatham Cultural Centre for kids of all ages on July 26. The Chatham Capitol Theatre presents ROOTS FESTIVAL featuring a concert at 3 p.m. by The Nathaniel Dett Chorale. Enjoy Totonto's eclectic chamber choir dedicated to the performance of Nathaniel Dett's Afrocentric compositions including classical, blues, jazz, folk and spritual gospel. Other great activities at the Roots Festival include drum making, storytelling, jewelry making and face painting. Visti Wallaceburg's WAMBO (Wallaceburg Antique Motor and Boat Outing). Firday, August 8 will see the arrival of the larger boats, a dream cruise of antique cars, and Barbeque dinners by the K of C and the Legion. Saturday, August 9, see the display of antique boats, cars, firetrucks and motorcyles as well as an Art in the Park, a Craft show, Museum displays and a kids' model and toy show. No admission fee.
