First of three slide-illustrated lectures entitled THE MEDICI, MICHELANGELO AND THE ART OF LATE RENAISSANCE FLORENCE. In Studio 1 of the Chatham Cultural Centre, on three consecutive Thursday evenings, beginning March 13, explore Renaissance Florence with Professor Michael Farrell of the University of Windsor Fine Arts Faculty. $12 per lecture.

The Chatham Cultural Centre Showcase Series presents MOLLY JOHNSON QUARTET. Molly has rocked standing room only audiences as a pop artist, seduced patrons with her luscious interpretations of jazz and blues standards and even regaled royalty. With a repertoire that embraces Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Billie Holiday as well as original material, Johnson has delighted audiences opening for greats such as Ray Charles and B.B.King. The Concert Series at the Chatham Cultural Centre presents OCTAGON 2003. Eight of Canada's most widely recorded instrumental soloists have built a programme around the rarely heard Octet by Franz Schubert and the great youthful Septet, Opus 20, by Beethoven.
