Alkiline life 80 20 rule!

Friday, August 3, 2007

So what is this alkaline life? It is said that a Master of the Tao (an original creation of the Way or 'Path'.) has alkaline saliva. In the Vedas (the oldest "Hindu scripture" scriptural texts of "Hinduism" Hinduism) we are taught of the 3 states of being; tamas, rajas and sattva, or alkaline, acidic and balanced.

Dr Sagen Ishizuka, founder of Japanese Macrobiotics, translated this into acid and alkaline.

Doctor Ishizuka passionately believed food to be the highest medicine. He realized that all sickness, imbalance and physical weakness came from wrong eating habits. If we are too acidic, we must apply alkalinity. The state of balance we speak of in the human body is in the state of our blood, which is the supreme commander over all other bodily functions. With a blood supply even slightly acidic, we lapse into coma and eventually die. It must be kept at a pH of 7.35,

An imbalanced diet high in acidic foods can deplete the body of alkaline minerals such as sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium, making people prone to chronic and degenerative disease.?
What does "Acid" and "Alkaline" mean?
Water (H2O) ionizes into hydrogen (H+) and hydroxyl (OH-) ions. When these ions are in equal proportions, the pH is a neutral 7. When there are more H+ ions than OH- ions then the water is said to be "acid". If OH- ions outnumber the H+ ions then the water is said to be "alkaline". The pH scale goes from 0 to 14 and is logarithmic, which means that each step is ten times the previous. In other words, a pH of 4.5 is 10 times more acid than 5.5, 100 times more acid than 6.5 and 1,000 times more acid than 7.5.

Saliva PH test
The Saliva PH test is a simple test you can do to measure your susceptibility to cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, arthritis, and many other degenerative diseases. Some health food stores and pharmacies stock pH paper. What you are looking for is narrow range pH paper measuring pH 4.5 to 7.5 or pH 4.5 to 8.5. These pH strips to measure acid/alkaline balance belong in every family medicine kit.

symptoms of excess acidity
