Sydenham Field Naturalists schedule of dates 2003

The following is a list of meetings and outings for the Sydenham Field Naturalists of Chatham-Kent. Anyone is welcome to attend at no cost. Annual dues are payable in January at $10.00 single, and $17.50 family/two or more.

INDOOR MEETINGS:
(held at ECR International, Olsen Division, 6800 Baseline Rd., Wallaceburg)
January 8: Member Night
February 5: Bickford Oak Woods by Larry Cornelis
March 5: Mushrooms by Peter Banks

ANNUAL BANQUET:
April 16: Knights of Pythias Hall, Nelson St.
$15.00 per person
Guest speaker: Peter Read on Peregrine Falcons
Dinner, displays, bucket raffle.

OUTINGS:
February 9: Winter Walk in Bickford Oak Woods (1 p.m.)
April 27: Spring Walk, Booth Creek & woods.
May 10: Rondeau Birding (meet Rondeau Visitor Centre at 08:00)

Remember December 28, 2002 is the local Christmas Bird Count. Anyone seeing an unusual bird on this date can contact the author of this column through the forum.
