Ride as near to the right hand curb as possible going in the same direction as the cars are going.

Always wear a helmet.

Keep both hands on the handlebars, unless you are signaling to turn.

Learn your hand signals. Use your left hand when making signals.

If you are riding with others, ride in single file.

Obey all traffic signs and signals.

If there is a bike path, use it.

Be a courteous bike rider.

Get off your bike and walk it across busy corners and train tracks.
