VOICES FOR INJURY PREVENTION

The Chatham-Kent Children's Safety Village is currently looking for volunteers who want to represent a local safety initiative and help spread the word about child injury prevention for Chatham-Kent.

The Chatham-Kent Children's Safety Village invites public advocates who are able to share personal details of an injury, death or disability of a child that affected your family to help spread the word about child injury prevention in our area. Advocates need to be able to openly discuss their lives and many aspects of their disability or loss with others. Advocates also need to be local citizens of Chatham-Kent so that the community can better identify with your personal story.

The Chatham-Kent Children's Safety Village is a registered charity that focuses on child injury, death and disability prevention in Chatham-Kent only. We offer safety training for grades 1, 4 and 6 to schools all over Chatham-Kent free of charge thanks to many local businesses, sponsors, donators and organizations.

The Chatham-Kent Children's Safety Village houses curriculum based safety programs and an impactful training site located within the C.M. Wilson Conservation Area where children learn several different state of the art safety programs taught by local uniformed safety professionals with a hands on approach.
