Registration for Spring Safety Programming is Now Open
The Chatham-Kent Children’s Safety Village, in conjunction with Emergency Services and community partners, provides interactive, curriculum based safety and injury prevention education for local youth.
Grade 4 Curriculum (includes all three programs) April- May
C-K Police Service Program
• Bicycle safety inspection and helmet safety (includes interactive session outdoors)
• Pedestrian safety and street-proofing
C-K Fire Department Fire Safety Program
• Interactive “Sparky’s Apartment” session
• Kitchen and home safety
• Peer pressure and smoke alarms
Chatham-Kent Energy
• Electrical safety
• Conservation
• Pet safety
