The Chatham-Kent Children’s Safety Village is proud to announce The Second Annual Sparky, Elmer and Andy Safety Recognition Awards. This is an opportunity to acknowledge the brave and courageous youth of Chatham-Kent. Acts of heroism and good citizenship will be recognized. Children that reside in Chatham-Kent who are in grades junior kindergarten through to grade eight are eligible. Judging will be done by the following safety professionals; the Chatham-Kent Police Service, Chatham-Kent Fire Department, and Chatham-Kent Paramedics Association. Winners of the safety awards will receive a Sparky, Elmer and Andy Award Trophy and a citation certificate signed by the Chatham-Kent Police Chief/Chatham-Kent Fire Chief.
